Dr. Holly McMinn
Growing up in Southern California, Dr. Holly McMinn developed a passion for horses at an early age through riding and competing in the hunter-jumper discipline. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and has been dedicated to providing thoughtful, high-quality equine care ever since.
Dr. McMinn enjoys working with horses of every age, discipline, and lifestyle—from elite performance athletes to cherished family companions. She believes the best veterinary care combines current medical knowledge with strong client relationships, clear communication, and an understanding that every horse and owner has unique goals.
Whether she's helping a competition horse perform at its best, guiding preventive wellness, or supporting a horse through illness or retirement, Dr. McMinn is committed to delivering compassionate, practical care tailored to each patient.
Outside the clinic, Holly enjoys life on her farm with her husband, their two young children, and a variety of animals, including horses, cows, dogs, and chickens. Being both an equine veterinarian and horse owner gives her a firsthand appreciation for the partnership between horses and the people who care for them.
